The just-concluded Gala costume exhibition was a real show of “My Image, My Everything” Slogan. The entire event was characterized by theatrical accessories as well as everything that could be simply referred to as wonderfully eccentric. Identifying the best-dressed personality was something that was pegged on a meticulous approach of image and demeanor together with the fashion that came along with the event.
Having observed and analyzed the entire event critically, I wish to present the Top Five Image Tips At The 2019 Met Gala:
The 2019 event’s theme was “Camp: Notes on Fashion.” The guests ensured that their image as well as what they wore depicted the exact interpretation of the highlighted theme as they slay on the pink carpet at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The theme dictated artistry of the event but most importantly appearing at the Gala necessitated prior knowledge of what the event entailed. I must attest to the fact that actor Billy Porter took the event to a rather different level when he came dressed in a gold bodysuit with a matching headpiece. Furthermore, he was carried by six bare-chest men.
The audience was one of the highly considered factors as far as participating in the event is concerned. None of the participants was ready to be exempted from the attention that came along with the audience. Lady Gaga went an extra mile when she came with a pink dress, but promptly stripped to a black dress, then a pink dress and finally to her underwear [emonji].
With all said and done, what I could borrow from the event was majorly the power of being confident in your own image. Just like I have emphasized in most of my Instagram posts confidence reflects the image that you would like to portray on the outside. From my story, it is always key.
Style can be a bit confusing when it comes to its comparison with fashion. However, I wish to point out the two were clearly illustrated from the pink carpet. If you still need more information on this or you have additional information that you would like to add on the highlighted tips feel free to comment below. Till next time, “Your Image, Is Your Everything.”
